Harleston's Branch of U3A meets each month on the third Wednesday, from 2-4pm at King George's Hall in the centre of Harleston.  We have enjoyed speakers on such diverse topics as Wills, Codes and Ciphers, Porcelain, and this month John Scales will be telling the story of Village Signs in his illustrated talk.

We also have a busy programme of groups in and around Harleston covering the many interests of our members.

We try to fill our programme with groups and topics that will interest everybody but still have many gaps to fill.  U3A Harleston remains totally reliant on coordinators for provision of study, discussion and social groups – they are people like you and we are always keen to hear from people eager to start a new group or help get one started.

There are also other administrative jobs that we need help with from time to time – people who already contribute their time and effort into helping can vouch for the satisfaction there is in being involved – it gives an insight into how the organisation operates and a chance to have your ideas implemented.

More information on getting involved or any other programme details are available on our number, 852123 or come into Harleston Information Plus at 8, Exchange Street, on Saturday mornings, 10am–1pm, Tel: 851917.

Come along to our meeting this month on Wednesday 15th September

2-4pm at King George's Hall
